New York (For immediate release)—Green Trading Inc. announces the release of its first book on green trading encompassing emissions, renewable, and energy efficiency financial trading. Green TradingTM: Commercial Opportunites for the Environment originated from the Second Annual GreenTrading Summit™: Emissions, Renewables & Negawatts, held April 7-8, 2003, in New York City. Ten chapters of this book were developed from the conference presentations. The book was cosponsored by DNV and GE Power Systems.

Authors and editors, Peter C. Fusaro and Marion Yuen, co-created the Annual GreenTrading Summit™: Emissions, Renewables & Negawatts. This annual conference is the cutting-edge event for leading practitioners in trading greenhouse gas emission reductions, renewable energy, and energy efficiency. It defines the current status of the emerging green trading markets as well as the convergence of the environmental and capital markets.

Chapters in the book encompass the state of environmental financial markets, renewable energy and carbon trades, and the direction of market development over the next several years. A forward by Yehuda Dror, Corporate Vice President, Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and a preface by John G. Rice, President and CEO, GE Power Systems entitled “ A Commitment to the Environment” outline the scope of this cutting edge book.
