The Global Change Foundation (in Formation)The Global Change Foundation supports education in energy and the environment. Its mission is to raise funds for projects and scholarships for global change. There are fourteen separate projects under development. The Green Salon is the first of these. Klavierhaus, Sujatri and Gabor Reisinger Klavierhaus is the professional home of extraordinary historic pianos and the two Hungarian born brothers Sujatri and Gabor Reisinger who skillfully restore them. Sujatri can be seen on stage at Carnegie Hall and other concert stages where major events occur. He has been voicing and regulating pianos for demanding artists in concert situations for over three decades. Gabor is President of the Design Center at the Klavierhaus piano salon. The Fazioli Salon’s intimate setting in the rear of Klavierhaus hosts recording sessions, master classes, concerts and visiting pianists and The Green Salon. Michael Cabe is a Seattle born artist who has performed in some of New York’s finest performance spaces, including Birdland and Sweet Rhythm as well as the Kennedy Center in Washington. In addition to his solo career, he has his own jazz trio. Michael earned a Master’s Degree in Jazz Piano performance from the Manhattan School of Music in 2005. A composer and educator, having created the curriculum for an Introduction to Jazz program for students from grades three through eight, he presents these programs to schools throughout the country as well as in a music conservatory in China through video conferencing technology. His accomplishments have be chronicled by the BBC and Fox News. He will tell you about his new CD. Dr. Mark Laska, Partner, Ecology Venture Partners, has 20 years experience as an ecologist, focusing on terrestrial and wetland biology and ecological strategy for private sector clients. Many of his projects have focused on wetland restoration and planning. He feels strongly that people are the best resource for acquiring and sharing information. He received a PhD from Rutgers University, an MS from Fordham and a BA from the University of Colorado. Peter Fusaro - Founder and Chairman of Global Change Associates, author of 15 books on energy, environment and green finance and a sought-after keynote speaker, created the Green Salon with Carmen Cook to bring the arts and environment into closer, accessible harmony and dialogue. Carmen Cook - VP Marketing, for Global Change Associates, graduated from Juilliard with a degree in Voice. A Regional Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera Auditions, she performed in opera, operetta and musical theater and performed in theater and television.
